The brewery operates in Annaga-den, Fukushima City, with a view of the Azuma Mountains. It has been brewing for 29 years, using meltwater from the Azuma range together with European malt, hops, and yeast. Its beers are made with an emphasis on a balanced finish, body, and crisp drinkability.
Fruit beers are another notable part of the brewery’s portfolio. Fukushima-grown peaches and apples, selected by Date Farm in Date City, are used to express the character of the region. Its Peach Lager, made with Fukushima’s Akatsuki white peaches, received a silver award at the Japan Great Beer Awards 2025.
The Nakano Tohoku Kizuna Festival brings the culture and attractions of the Tohoku region together in Tokyo. For beer lovers, the event offers an opportunity to enjoy a glass that reflects Fukushima’s water, agricultural produce, and brewing tradition while taking in the festival atmosphere.
