On Saturday, October 10, the Shiwa-based beer pub will appear at Zaimokucho Yoichi, a long-running Saturday market in Morioka. The event will run from 3:10 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Visitors can walk through the seasonal market while enjoying hard cider from Green Neighbors Hard Cider. The venue is familiar to the team, which has joined the market several times in the past.
On Monday, October 12, the producer will move to Morioka Racecourse for the Oropaku Autumn Festival. The festival runs from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and coincides with the Mile Championship Nambu Hai, one of the major races in Iwate horse racing. Alongside Green Neighbors Hard Cider, Iwate Kura Beer, Sanriku Beer, and GOOD HOPS are also scheduled to attend, giving visitors a chance to explore a selection of drinks from Iwate and the wider local craft scene.
A free shuttle bus will operate between Morioka Station and Morioka Racecourse. Visitors should check the official Iwate Horse Racing website for the timetable and event details.
The taproom at Green Neighbors Hard Cider’s location in Hiwadate, Shiwa, will be closed on both October 10 and 12 because of the event appearances.
