Taking the festival atmosphere into the city

BrewBeast from Hanamaki and Green Neighbors Hard Cider from Shiwa, Iwate, will join forces at Beer Stand Amber Rondo in Honcho, Sendai, for “AFTER TAPS.” The event will take place on September 22, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Presented as a continuation of the Sendai Craft Beer Festival held at Kotodai Park in August, the event brings the connections and energy of the festival into a downtown taproom. The taps at Amber Rondo are scheduled to feature beers from BrewBeast alongside hard cider from Green Neighbors Hard Cider.

The announcement does not identify individual beer names. It does state that beers served at the festival will be available, together with hard cider that was not brought to the festival. That lineup should offer drinkers a chance to compare craft beer with the crisp acidity and fruit character of hard cider from Green Neighbors.

Oyster dishes and festival food

Food will be provided by Oyster Hut Rokko, which also appeared at the Sendai Craft Beer Festival. Menu items served at the festival by Amber Rondo will also be available, giving guests plenty to pair with the beer and cider.

Beer Stand Amber Rondo is located on the first floor of Raryushū Sendai in Honcho, Aoba-ku, Sendai. With BrewBeast, Green Neighbors Hard Cider, and Amber Rondo sharing the taps, “AFTER TAPS” offers a compact downtown gathering built around beer, cider, and food.

Green Neighbors Hard Cider’s taproom in Shiwa is scheduled to remain open as usual on the day of the event.
