June Business Information
Koshien Outfield Brewery (Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture) announced its June operating schedule and 1st anniversary event plans on Instagram. The images show separate business hours for weekdays and weekends/holidays, and also mention closures and the timing in relation to baseball game days.
1st Anniversary Event to Be Held from June 26 to 28
To mark June, the month in which it reaches one year since obtaining its brewing license, the brewery will hold an event over three days, from Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28. The currently announced plans include tapping the fourth release of its signature beer, PLAYBALL, originally brewed in its very first batch; a lottery to decide the name of the next beer; a food event centered on smoked plates; and anniversary-only stickers and KOB merchandise.
PLAYBALL is a beer with special meaning as the first beer brewed at the shop. This time, the recipe returns to the same hop composition as the first release for a "back to the basics" brew, and a tasting comparison with the currently available third release is also planned. True to the town around a stadium, it looks set to be an anniversary event where people can enjoy the distance between baseball and craft beer.
As a brewery located near Hanshin Koshien Stadium, Koshien Outfield Brewery is building its presence not only as a place for a drink before or after a game, but also as a spot where locals can casually drop by. In June, attention is likely to focus on both the business schedule and the anniversary plans.
