CraftBeerSpot Hathor taps Shimanami Brewery's First Lager on Aug. 6
CraftBeerSpot Hathor in Osaka's Kyobashi lined up Shimanami Brewery's First Lager on Aug. 6, alongside beers such as Minoh Beer's W-IPA Real Ale ver. The selection spans lagers, sour beers, fruit beers, IPAs, and a black beer.
CraftBeerSpot Hathor is a beer pub in Kyobashi, Osaka, with 16 taps and smoked dishes on the menu, making it an easy place to build a full drinking session around draft beer.
The headline pour is First Lager / Shimanami Brewery. Brewed as a "first beer of the night" lager, it is based on the award-winning "First Down" developed by brewer Matsuoka during his Yatsugatake Brewery days, then adapted for the Setouchi climate. Its selling points are hop character, a clean finish, 100% Saaz hops, and a lighter body created with rice from Fuchu, Hiroshima.
The rest of the tap list is broad: Jukusen / Asahi Beer in the lager section; Plum Gose / Minoh Beer, Wine Not? / Nomcraft x Choryo, Kinoni Pale Ale Real Ale Ver / Onidensetsu Beer, and Gougin / Daisen G Beer among the ales; Primal Elements Blueberry & Marionberry / Firestone Walker, Meyer Lemon Radler / Isekadoya Beer, and Shimanami Super Lemon Sour / Shimanami Brewery in the fruit category; W-IPA Real Ale Ver / Minoh Beer and Three Factor Authentication / Barebottle for IPA; and Kurikuro / Miyazaki Hideji Beer as the black beer.
From an easy first lager to a high-ABV W-IPA and fruit-driven options, the lineup is built for drinking from the first glass to the last.
