Kyoto Arashiyama Brewery to Open a Booth at the April 25-26 Eve Festival at Kyoto City Hall Plaza
Kyoto Arashiyama Brewery will have a booth at the "Kyoto After-Bath Craft Beer Eve Festival 2026," to be held at Kyoto City Hall Plaza on April 25 and 26, 2026. It will be a two-day chance to enjoy freshly brewed beer in the heart of Kyoto.
The two-day event "Kyoto After-Bath Craft Beer Eve Festival 2026" will be held on Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26, 2026 at Kyoto City Hall Plaza. This is a pre-event leading up to the main festival, "Kyoto After-Bath Craft Beer Festival 2026," which will take place on May 2 and 3 at "Fushimi Chikara no Yu" in Fushimi. Admission is free. At the venue, visitors can enjoy a tasting set of four 150 ml pours, along with food that pairs well with beer.
The participating breweries number eight, centered mainly in Kyoto. Among them is Kyoto Arashiyama Brewery. Based at its Sanjo brewery/brewpub in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City, the brewery promotes the idea of "creating delicious beer rooted in Kyoto that people around the world can enjoy with a smile." Although it bears the name Arashiyama, its brewing stage is in the Kawaramachi-Sanjo area, making it a presence that shares Kyoto beer culture from the middle of the city.
Also taking part in the eve festival are distinctive Kyoto breweries such as KYOTO NUDE BREWERY, Ichijoji Brewery, Woodmill Brewery Kyoto, Yamorido, and Aldea Yamashiro Beers. They will be joined by OUR BREWING from Fukui and Free Spirits Brewing from Himeji, Hyogo, creating a lineup that lets visitors compare craft beers from different regions in the center of Kyoto City.
In addition, the collaboration project with Kyoto Municipal Subway, "Let's Go by Subway! - Stamp Collection and Capsule Gacha Challenge -" will also be held. If you collect stamps at the nearest station to the venue, Kyoto Shiyakusho-mae, and at Takeda, the nearest station to the main festival site, you can enter the lottery campaign. Easy access combined with strolling around the city is one of the charms unique to this eve festival.
This spring eve festival, bringing together Kyoto breweries, looks set to be an opening chapter toward the main festival, an event where you can casually start with just one drink and enjoy more if you like.
