craft beer BLUE, a beer pub on the second floor in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa, announced two new taps in a July 25 post. The shop regularly posts tap updates, and this one stands out for pairing a fruit-forward sour with a coffee porter. On Saturdays, it welcomes guests from 3 p.m.

The two featured beers are Bighand Bros.Beer’s Carnelian and Pecora Beer’s Black Sheep.

- `Carnelian` is a Fruited Sour Ale w/Apricot. It uses plenty of apricot, with dry hopping and vanilla beans added to lift the aroma. The result is presented as a fruit-driven sour with a soft, approachable profile.
- `Black Sheep` is a Coffee Porter. Its design layers roasted coffee character with malt aroma, and this batch is described as a robust porter made by steeping Roast Design Coffee’s Ethiopia Sidama Pensa Shantawne beans in the fermentation tank.

The posted tap list also includes `Carnelian`, `BUDDY`, `Malcove`, `Tiny`, `Calderite`, `YAYOI IPA`, `YUZU PEACH NE IPA`, and `Black Sheep`. In style terms, that means Czech Premium Pale Lager, Saison, Nano Pale Ale, DIPA, Juicy IPA, Yuzu Peach NE IPA, and Coffee Porter, giving the bar a lineup that moves from crisp lager to hop-forward ales and a roasty dark beer.

It is a compact but varied lineup, making it easy to start with the sour and finish with the coffee porter.
