Two Kegs Tapped

YELLOW APE CRAFT, a beer pub in Kitahama, Osaka, announced its taps for the day in a May 20 post. Two new kegs were added this time, and the lineup has the kind of character you'd expect from guest beers.

Shiso Lemon Gose / Falo Brewing

The first is Shiso Lemon Gose from Falo Brewing. This gose uses red shiso and lemon, and the post introduces it as a beer suited to hot weather when you're likely to work up a sweat. The tart, salty character of gose is joined by the freshness of shiso and lemon, making it an easy choice for a first beer.

GO SMALL WAVE~A wave this small is no problem for butterfly~ / YELLOW APE CRAFT x APE BREWING

The second is GO SMALL WAVE~A wave this small is no problem for butterfly~ from YELLOW APE CRAFT x APE BREWING. The shop's tap list lists it at ABV 4.8%, suggesting a beer that's easy to keep drinking. As a collaboration beer, both the shop's personality and the brewery's playful spirit come through directly in the name.

YELLOW APE CRAFT is a craft beer pub at 2-4-9 Imahashi, Chuo-ku, Osaka City. It is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 3:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., making it easy to stop by after work in the Kitahama area. The shop also offers all-you-can-drink craft beer courses, including a plan to enjoy all taps on the day and another all-you-can-drink plan for 10 varieties. It's a place where you can try the kegs you're curious about one by one, or build a more serious drinking session all at once.

The post also announced the Hayate Bakery event on May 30, as well as a booth at Craft Beer Live on May 23 and 24. Between tap changes and off-site events, it's the kind of content that makes beer fans want to plan their schedule around it.
