Suzume Lager Returns
At LANA Beer, Shirosuzume's "Suzume Lager" has been tapped. This time it is being offered as a guest beer, following last week’s appearance. And this week, it is being served through LANA Beer’s signature swing tap.
The shop says that when they first tried this beer, they felt it might also work on the swing tap. The bar usually handles beers from major manufacturers on the swing tap, but this time they set it up as a one-keg trial to see what it could do. Shirosuzume also had its own view of the swing tap, and after discussing it, the beer was offered this way.

Suzume Lager is introduced as a lager that makes the most of malt's toasty aroma. Reviews on BeerHunt also note it as a beer remembered for its fragrant malt character and clean golden color. With hops kept in check, it is a beer suited to people who want to enjoy the drinkability typical of a lager and the character of the grain.
LANA Beer, as a beer hall and beer stand, is a place that takes great care with how draft beer is handled and poured. In Mizonokuchi, being able to enjoy beer right down to the differences in pouring is part of what makes the place distinctive. This Suzume Lager is a perfect glass for checking how the same beer changes when the pour changes. Even those who drank it last week may want to try the swing tap version again.
