Hitachi Beer Brewery is a microbrewery located in Bentencho, Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture. It began operations in 2024 in a corner of Second Earth Diner Hitachi Main Store, and has developed an original brand that brings local scenery and seasonal atmosphere into its beer.

The "SAKURA HITACHI ALE" introduced this time is one of the brewery's representative lines, and its design is meant to evoke the cherry blossoms of Hitachi City. In previous introductions as well, the company's "Sakura Hitachi Ale" has been presented as a white ale made with cherry blossom petals from Hitachi City, and has been positioned as something like a glassful reflection of the city's spring.

One of Hitachi Beer Brewery's strengths is the close proximity of the shop and the brewery. In an open space where you can get a close look at the brewing process, the style of staff taking part in production while refining the flavor gives it the appeal of a community-rooted brewery. With an annual production capacity of 15,000 liters, it currently operates around the following three labels:

- Sakura Hitachi Ale
- Kawarago Sunrise
- Kujihama Moonlight

All of them are named after places and scenery in Hitachi, making their connection to the city clear. Taking that branding approach into account, this post can be read as once again conveying the beer's presence as a spring staple. It seems likely to become a beer that signals the change of season, not only for visitors to Hitachi on sightseeing trips, but also for locals who enjoy craft beer in their everyday lives.
