North Island Beer will hold its "17th Anniversary Thanksgiving Festival" on Sunday, August 16, at EBRI in Ebetsu, Hokkaido. The venue is EBRI at 3-3 Higashinopporo-cho, Ebetsu, about a five-minute walk from JR Nopporo Station. The event runs from 11:00 to 18:00.
This time, the featured vendor is Mibiyakitori, a popular jumbo yakitori shop in Ebetsu. In its announcement, North Island Beer highlighted the pairing of pilsner and yakitori, noting how the clean bitterness of the beer complements the savory fat and charcoal aroma of the grilled chicken. Freshly grilled yakitori will be served on site.
North Island Beer has been brewing in Ebetsu since 2003 and is known for making beers that reflect Hokkaido ingredients and local character. On its official site, the brewery also introduces its direct bar in central Sapporo, where guests can enjoy five regular beers plus seasonal and limited brews on draft.
Advance tickets are available through the link in the Instagram profile or via the QR code in the post. Paper tickets are being sold at the Ebetsu brewery, Beer Bar North Island, Cocomocha, and EBRI. The all-you-can-drink tickets limited to the first 50 buyers are already sold out.
