Canal brewing (Oimachi, Tokyo) will hold its "Store Owner Kei Birthday Event" on April 25. In the post, the venue described it as an open event that anyone can drop by, rather than a private booking, and said it would be a "simple gathering" to enjoy craft beer with gratitude for everyday support.

Canal brewing, the venue, is a brewery and craft beer specialty shop within walking distance of Oimachi Station. Its defining feature is serving carefully selected craft beers from across Japan on up to 10 taps. The standing-style space also makes it easy to stop by for just one drink. On the day of the event as well, guests should be able to enjoy the shop's core approach of serving "the beer you want to drink right now, in great condition."

The taps announced in the post for the day are the following eight beers.

- Canal brewing - C #3 (IPA)
- RISE&WIN Brewing Co. - KAMIKATZ MORNING SUMMER (Hazy IPA)
- BREW CLASSIC - Wolf Chop (Wheat IPA)
- FLORA FERMENTATION - FLORA LAGER (Premium Lager)
- MAHOWBREW - Muninn (Munich-style Helles)
- Isekadoya Beer - Imperial Red Ale (Double Red Ale)
- Green Neighbors Hard Cider - ALL. 18 Types of Apples (Hard Cider)
- RIOT BEER - DarkLands -Nitro Ver- (Belgian Stout)

Also planned for the day is a limited food offering by Shota, who provides Shanti Curry every month. The event is designed so guests can enjoy both food and beer. The post also notes that "many of the beers are running low," so anyone who has been meaning to try a particular beer should check it out soon.

In addition, the post announced Shanti Curry on April 21, a birthday event for staff member Misaki on May 2, a tap takeover by Nomcraft Brewing on May 9, and Canal brewing's 3rd anniversary event on May 23. As the schedule continues to build around craft beer in Oimachi, the April 25 Store Owner Kei birthday event looks set to be the centerpiece of that run.
