On April 5, And Beer pairs spicy food with citrus beer

The brewpub "And Beer" in Tokyo's Koenji announced its business lineup for April 5, from lunch through dinner. Lunch runs from 11:30 to 15:00, followed by an idle period before dinner service begins at 17:00, making it a place where guests can enjoy food and beer together inside the shop.

The highlight is the announced "Jamaica!-style jerk chicken biryani." The sauce uses beans, coconut, and allspice, giving it a distinctly Jamaican nuance. In addition to the juicy jerk chicken mixed into the rice, the menu also includes a spring-inspired "sea bream and butterbur sprout miso biryani." There are also three kinds of curry, and among them the "mustard shrimp curry" is recommended.

On the drinks side, And Beer's "Fuku Mikan" was introduced. It is a refreshing beer made with mandarin oranges, and the post emphasizes how well it goes with jerk chicken. As a brewpub, one of the appeal of this shop is being able to choose house-brewed beer to match the character of the dishes.

In the easygoing atmosphere typical of Koenji, this was a lineup suited to anyone wanting to enjoy spicy food and craft beer together. Whether you are going for the biryani at lunch or dropping in for a drink with dinner, it is a useful all-day service.
