Keisei Koiwa Craft Sakeden reports 11 runners and six taps
The Keisei Koiwa beer pub posted about its night run club on June 19. Eleven people ran roughly 4.5 km, then gathered back at the shop for a toast. The post also listed the beers currently on tap.
Keisei Koiwa Craft Sakeden sits down a back alley and works as both a bottle shop and a standing beer bar, which makes it an easy place to connect running and drinking. In its June 19 post, the shop said the previous night’s "Keisei Koiwa Night Run Club" drew a large group of 11 runners. After about 4.5 km along the riverside at night, everyone returned to the bar and raised a glass together.
The tap lineup listed in the post was varied:
- SORACHI1981 (Sapporo)
- KAMIKATZ Pale Ale (RISE & WIN Brewing Co.)
- Kyara (COEDO)
- TAJI (Minamiaizu Mountain Brewing)
- Sweet Strawberry (Onidensetsu)
- Kagura (Matsuri Brewing)
It is a lineup with range, from hop-forward classics to pale ale and fruit beer, so the bar clearly had something for different tastes on the night. The setting also matters: this is a tucked-away craft beer spot in Keisei Koiwa, where people can stop in for a quiet pint on an ordinary night, but the room can also turn lively when an event is underway.
The post also said the next night run club is planned for July, and that the shop will join the neighborhood event "Koiyoi" on June 21. The plan includes broadcasting the World Cup Tunisia match on both floors and serving a special biryani menu, reinforcing the shop’s role as a local hub for both running and beer.
