Craft beer bar & bottle shop BOCCA, a beer pub and bottle shop in Takasaki, Gunma, has announced an upcoming tap takeover featuring Asfes, a brewery from Niigata.
According to BOCCA’s official Instagram post, five Asfes beers are planned for the event. The individual beer names, service dates, and other details have not yet been announced. The tasting lineup should give guests an opportunity to compare several Asfes beers in one setting.
The post also mentions the first edition of the local walking beer festival “Bakutei,” scheduled for this month. BOCCA is preparing several beer-related projects designed to bring craft beer closer to everyday life in the Takasaki community.
BOCCA has also recently introduced a rotating “fish of the night” menu. Depending on the day, dishes may include saury, salted mackerel, saikyo-marinated Spanish mackerel, kasu-marinated red fish, or striped atka mackerel. These seafood dishes may offer a natural pairing partner for the upcoming Asfes beers.
Located on the first floor of ARC Building in Torimachi, Takasaki, BOCCA combines a tap-focused beer pub with a bottle shop. More information about the tap takeover, including the date, beer list, and ticket details, is expected in a future announcement.
