Futako Beer Releases Pink Boots Collaboration Brew 2026
Futako Beer has released its collaboration beer, "Pink Boots Collaboration Brew 2026," brewed to coincide with International Women's Day. Sakazuki Brewing, Bright Blue Brewing, and three female brewers from Futako Beer took part, and draft beer is already being offered ahead of the cans at the brand's directly operated shops.
Futako Beer (Setagaya, Tokyo) announced the release of "Pink Boots Collaboration Brew 2026" on Instagram. According to the post, it is a project brewed to align with March 8, International Women's Day, using the blend of hops selected each year by the international organization `Pink Boots Society`, which supports female brewers. A portion of the sales will be donated to support women's career development.
This collaboration involved `Sakazuki Brewing` in Kitasenju, Tokyo, `Bright Blue Brewing` in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, and three female brewers from Futako Beer. The concept was to brew beers at each brewery that reflected one another's image, making this an initiative that strongly highlights the connections among female brewers.
The beer handled by Futako Beer is a hoppy lager inspired by Kanayama-san of Sakazuki Brewing. The post says it delivers a bright aroma of red berries, citrus, and tropical fruit, with a light, clear flavor profile. It also invites drinkers to compare it with the regular Futako Lager.
As for availability, draft beer is being offered first at Futako Beer's directly operated shops. The can release is planned for next week and later. Futako Beer is a local craft beer born in the streets of Futako-Tamagawa, and its official website describes it as a "beer for everyday life." As a brand with a brewpub in Futako-Tamagawa and a brewing base in Setagaya, it continues to build both community-rooted brewing and collaborations.
