The CRAFT BEER Market Tokyo Torch location in Otemachi, Tokyo (on the first floor of Tokiwabashi Tower) updated its guest beer information in an Instagram post. This time, it featured a lineup of three beers tapped that day, each with its own distinct character.

The centerpiece is "Cookies & Cream Po-taro", a dark beer from Ikebukuro's CYCAD Brewing. In the post, it is described as part of a series designed to soften the "heavy" and "bitter" image often associated with dark beers, and its concept is said to layer roasted bitterness with an aroma reminiscent of cookies and cream. With a rich body yet an easy-drinking balance, it was presented as a beer that would also suit a drink after dinner.

The other beers tapped at the same time were Chichibu Beer "Shirokuma -Hazy IPA-" and BREWDOG "Punk IPA". The post also mentioned several kegs with low remaining stock: Camado "Super Smash", PAINT PALETTE "D-IPA", and Ise Kadoya "Shadow Play". From more classic styles to hop-forward beers and even a dark beer, it is a lineup that makes side-by-side tasting easy at a single stop.

Its location near Tokyo Station and Otemachi also makes it easy to drop by after work. As a beer pub with rapidly rotating taps, it is safer to visit early on days when there is a beer you want to try. This post had more than enough to help decide on a first drink when chasing guest beers.
