KAMIKATZ BEER, the brewpub based in Kamikatsu, Tokushima, is set to host a pop-up at SAMAA_. According to the Instagram post, the event runs for two days, on June 20 and 21, and the lineup includes KAMIKATZ ZERO WASTE ORGANIC LIFE PALE ALE 02, KAMIKATZ IPA 03, KAMIKATZ WHITE 04, and KAMIKATZ STOUT.

KAMIKATZ BEER was born from Kamikatsu Town's Zero Waste Declaration, and the brewery's official story centers on sustainability, local ingredients, and resource circulation. That gives the brand a clear identity: these are beers that are not only enjoyable to drink, but also tied to a broader view of place and community.

The pop-up's appeal lies in its range. PALE ALE 02 offers a balanced, everyday drinkability; IPA 03 brings a sharper hop profile; WHITE 04 leans into a softer, wheat-driven character; and STOUT adds roasted depth and richness. Together, they show the breadth of KAMIKATZ's core lineup, while also reflecting the brewery's use of local ingredients such as yuko citrus, Awa bancha tea, Tokushima-grown barley, and Naruto Kintoki sweet potato.

The post also notes that SAMAA_ discovered Kamikatsu through its zero-waste efforts rather than through beer alone. That context makes this pop-up more than a simple tasting event: it is a practical introduction to the ideas behind KAMIKATZ BEER, served through a glass.
