Near Shimokitazawa Station, beer pub "Beer Bar Festa (Festa) Shimokitazawa" sent in its tap update for April 30. The newly tapped beer is Matsue Beer Hearn's 'Midoriyui Beer Stout'. It is a dark beer with a milky, mild sweetness and restrained bitterness. It reportedly has depth reminiscent of chocolate and coffee.

On this day, Festa opens at 6 p.m. and last order on weekdays is 1 a.m. The timing makes it easy to stop by at leisure after work, and the setup makes it easy to pair food with draft beer as the core. Since you can enjoy craft beer and darts at the same time inside the shop, it is better suited to lingering while comparing several glasses than to just having one drink and heading home.

Together with the new dark-beer tap, the lineup lets you choose according to your mood, from something crisp to something fuller-bodied.

Festa is a beer pub on the fifth floor in Shimokitazawa, and one of its features is that it also offers food designed to pair with beer. With all-you-can-throw darts and announcements of in-house events, it offers a "stay awhile" kind of enjoyment that goes beyond just drinking. It is a good fit for a night when you want to take it slow while working your way through a tap list that shows a different face with every glass.
