BEER MARROW is a beer pub located on the 4th floor of Kawada Building, just a one-minute walk from Kichijoji Station. With a setting where you can watch the trains from the window and a calm, counter-focused interior, it is easy to use whether you're drinking alone or spending the night in conversation. In this post, along with its 2 a.m. closing time, it also conveyed the kind of atmosphere that makes it feel like a place where you can drink while playing records.

The new beers tapped for the day were Totopia Brewery's `Sirenphobia` and UCHU BREWING's `Foggy Dawn`. `Sirenphobia` is an Oat Cream DIPA / 8.0%, brewed with Citra, Riwaka, Idaho7, and Idaho7 Hyperboost. Its smooth mouthfeel is layered with a citrus base and a fresh outline. `Foggy Dawn` is a DDH Hazy Imperial IPA / 8.0%, built around a heavy use of Citra hops, with fruit notes reminiscent of orange, mango, mandarin, pineapple, and peach coming forward.

Also on today's tap list were DD4D BREWING's `Mag Mag` (Sour IPA / 5.0%), GAME BREW's `CONTINUE?` (Golden Ale / 4.0%), and `GSP one` (West Coast IPA / 6.0% / Inosu Beer). With the addition of the two new releases to a lineup of sour, golden ale, and hop-forward West Coast IPA, the balance between light drinkability and satisfying depth is easy to find. It is a lineup suited to a night in Kichijoji, slowly tilting a glass while watching the trains.
