Miyakoji Hop Garden Brewery, based in Green Park Miyakoji in Tamura City, Fukushima Prefecture, is exhibiting at Season 2 of "Oedo Beer Festival 2026 Spring," held at Nakano Shiki no Mori Park. In a post, the brewery shared the atmosphere of the venue on the second day and noted that the lineup of beers on offer is gradually changing.

The brewery began in 2020 by renovating a public facility that had been dormant due to the nuclear accident, and launched as a brewery that starts from hop cultivation. While making use of hops grown in Tamura City, it continues efforts to connect the region's nature and industries, and it aims to build a local community centered on craft beer.

For this event, the booth is built around the regular "Abukuma" series, with the serving lineup shifting from Abukuma GREEN to Abukuma Crystal, and from Abukuma BLACK to Abukuma RED. In addition, the limited-edition Aurora and the new Head to Sea are also being served. Because the beers available change throughout the event, the setup is well suited to tasting side by side at the venue.

"Abukuma GREEN" is a fresh hop IPA made exclusively with hops grown in Tamura City, and is one of the brewery's signature beers. "Abukuma CRYSTAL" is a lager-style beer known for its clean aroma and hop bitterness, while "Abukuma BLACK" is known as a Black IPA that combines the character of a dark beer with a citrus aroma. At the venue, visitors can get a sense of where Miyakoji Hop Garden Brewery stands today through both its standard and limited offerings.

"Oedo Beer Festival 2026 Spring" runs from May 27 to 31, and Miyakoji Hop Garden Brewery is exhibiting in Season 2. How should hops grown in the mountains of Fukushima be presented at a beer event in the center of Tokyo? The answer is reflected in this lineup.
