U.B.P BREWERY Takes Over IBREW Akihabara

At CRAFT BEER BAR IBREW Akihabara Station Front Store, U.B.P BREWERY 40TAP TAKE OVER will be held. The dates are Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5, 2026. The post says it will be the "third time this year," and the setup will line up U.B.P BREWERY taps across the Akihabara beer pub.

This time, the lineup will be 39 taps + 1 collaboration beer. The collaboration beer is "OWN GOAL IPA," brewed with participation from IBREW Akihabara's "Shunsuke" and "Yappi." The style is American IPA, alcohol content is 7.5%, and IBU is 100. It is described as a beer designed with a strong bitterness reminiscent of the bitterness of youth, layered with malt sweetness and body.

Special guests are also scheduled to appear at the venue. On Saturday, April 4, head coach Wani-san will appear, and on Sunday, April 5, U.B.P's main slugger MARU-chan will join in. In addition, DJs will liven up both days, and a rock-paper-scissors tournament is also planned. It is content you can enjoy as an event, not just by drinking beer.

Enjoy a Large Tap Event in Akihabara

IBREW Akihabara Station Front Store is known as a beer pub near Akihabara Station. Large tap takeovers like this are appealing because you can drink your way through while comparing the range of beers on offer. Limited stadium-event food will also be available, making it a nice pairing with the beer.

The post also announces "SUPER GIRLS DAY" on Saturday, March 28, but from a craft beer perspective, the main attraction is still U.B.P BREWERY's two days. A 40-tap-scale event is noteworthy for IPA fans as well as anyone who wants to enjoy a tasting comparison.
