Sakura Taps, a beer pub in Yokohama's Hanasaki-cho area, will hold its "Juicy Things Friday" on Friday, July 17. The centerpiece is the venue's first full-fledged gourmet burger, the limited "Juicy SakuraTaps Burger," priced at 1,600 yen including tax. Service runs from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

The burger is built around a 100% beef shoulder-belly patty with hand-chopped beef mixed in, caramelized onions, mozzarella, and Parmigiano. It is finished with a balsamic sauce, plus a subtle layer of truffle and smoke, and topped with arugula and lettuce. According to the post, it is designed to work not only with craft beer but also with the Japanese wine program the bar recently started.

The draft list for the day covers eight beers and spans black lager, Helles, IPA, collaboration beers, and more. That makes the lineup especially food-friendly. A lighter start with Helles or XPA makes sense, while Schwarzbier or Dunkel should pair neatly with the burger's richer flavors. For hop-forward drinkers, Noroshi IPA and Haze Alliance add a more aromatic route through the menu.

Sakura Taps has the kind of setup that beer lovers tend to watch closely: a neighborhood pub feel, a rotating tap list, and food built to match the glass. This post is a straightforward example of that formula, with one limited burger and a lineup that invites pairing rather than standing on its own.
