PEDROLINO in Osaka taps CRAFT BEER BASE's gold-winning pilsner
PEDROLINO, a beer pub in Osaka's Andoji-cho area, has added a refrigerated case for cans and bottles on its counter. The new tap is CRAFT BEER BASE's gold-winning "Pilsener- Northern Style -", alongside a varied lineup of draft and stock beers.
PEDROLINO is a counter-centered beer pub in Osaka's Andoji-cho. In this update, the shop placed a refrigerated showcase for cans and bottles on the counter, giving guests the option to pick their own beer inside the bar. As before, guests can also ask the owner for a recommendation and have the beer chosen for them, which fits the shop's close, casual style.
The new tap is one beer: `Pilsener- Northern Style -` from CRAFT BEER BASE in Osaka. It is a German-style pilsner at 5.7% ABV, built around a sharp finish, clean herbal aroma, and a firm hop bitterness. The beer won gold in last year's International Beer Cup. CRAFT BEER BASE also had `Southern Style` take silver at this April's World Beer Cup, underscoring the brewery's strength in pilsner-style beers.
Other beers on tap include `No.6 MINAZUKI IPA` from Farmentry in Nara, `Koucha Bitter` from Minoh Beer in Osaka, and `YUZU PEEL Infused Lambiek` from Oud Beersel in Belgium. Stock beers include `COASTAL CRUSH HAZY IPA` from Repubrew in Shizuoka and `KARIGANE CHA SAISON` from Shima Brewery in Mie, giving the bar a lineup that spans Kansai, other parts of Japan, and Belgium.
