At the beer pub Beer O'clock in the Chiba Station area, a May 17 post announced a rotation of five taps. On Sundays, it operates straight through from 12:00 to 22:00, making it easy to enjoy craft beer from midday.

This round of new taps spans a wide range, from fruit-forward beers and sour ales to a roastier porter, an ESB, and a rich double IPA.

- Iwatekura Beer “Passion Wheat Ale”
- Derailleur Brew Works “Citrus Sour Ale”
- Nara Brewing “LIGHTHOUSE”
- Kagoya Brewery “Yuyake”
- Romantic Village “HHH Juicy Double IPA”

The lineup is fun to compare side by side: a wheat ale that brings out the aroma and tartness of passion fruit, a sour ale with pleasant yuzu peel and lactic acidity, a micro porter with a soft mouthfeel from oats, an ESB with a brown-sugar-like toasty sweetness, and a juicy DIPA with a dense aroma and body reminiscent of mango. Among them, Nara Brewing’s “LIGHTHOUSE” is introduced as a beer that won gold in the Session Beer category at the WORLD BEER CUP 2026.

On the food side, the standard cheesecake has been changed to a “baked cheesecake with mugwort and red bean.” The refreshing character of mugwort, the elegant sweetness of red bean, and the richness of the cheese should pair well not only with stouts, but also with sours and IPAs.

Beer O'clock, true to its identity as a beer pub in Chuo Ward, Fujimi, Chiba City, stands out for promoting tap updates and food pairings at the same time. The lineup lets you choose according to your mood, from a light pint to a rich one.
