Today's Taps and Recommendations

"Craft Beer Spot Hathor" in Kyobashi, Osaka, is a beer pub featuring 16 draft beers. In the April 4 update, Braumeister / Kirin Beer appeared in the lager slot first. It is introduced as a beer with the aroma of marigold hops, fine foam, and a calm, well-rounded umami developed through long aging, making it a brew that is easy to keep drinking without getting tired of it.

Also recommended is Sono Sen Real Ale ver / Shiga Kogen Beer. This IPA has a bright blonde appearance, layered citrus aromas reminiscent of grapefruit and hassaku, and a subtle tropical note. Its dry finish, made with the brewery's homegrown sake rice "Kinmonnishiki," is especially distinctive. Even at 8.5% ABV, the alcohol presence is kept in check, and it also carries the softness characteristic of a real ale.

Other Lineup

The menu for the day also includes Kyobashi Helles ~Shikkō Yūyo~ / T.Y. Harbor × Hathor, Sentinel / Dieu du Ciel!, Gouden Carolus Triple / Het Anker, Golden Dragon / Ise Kadoya Beer, Tomodachi Saison / Himitsu Beer × Tone × Kemupā, Kanpai Peach Ale / T.Y. Harbor, Onikaku T.Y. Imperial Red Ale / Onidensetsu Beer, Code Breaker / Trademark, Charm / Nara Brewing, and Black Oni Stout Kato SP Ver. Mk2 / Onidensetsu Beer.

A Day With Wide Drinking Options

Belgian, saison, fruit, IPA, and stout styles are all represented, making it an easy lineup to choose from, whether you're in the mood for something light or a beer with a higher alcohol content. The shop also says its house-smoked dishes are available, so pairing them with savory food should bring out the crispness of the lager, the citrus character of the IPA, and the roasted notes of the stout even more clearly. If you're stopping by for the draft beer, it looks like a night where you can compare a wide range of styles all at once.
