Rokko Island’s “local night” returns with a Sunday event

IN THA DOOR BREWING announced “ROKKO ISLAND CITY PARTY -CENTRAL- (R.I.C. Party)”. It will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Rokko Island Island Center Event Plaza. The nearest station is Rokko Liner’s “Island Center Station,” just a two-minute walk from the ticket gate. The event is open to drop in with no reservation required and free admission.

This edition comes after the originally planned session for Wednesday, March 18 was postponed because of rain. After adjustments among the vendors, it will be held as an “irregular” edition, shifted from the regular “third Wednesday night” to Sunday. The post says that although the lineup has been reduced from the original six vendors to four in a minimum setup, the food and drink offerings will still be fully prepared.

The vendors on the day are CIRCUS, Otemo-to, LAGOM COFFEE ROASTERY, and IN THA DOOR BREWING. The lineup ranges from side dishes that pair well with beer to sweets and coffee cocktails, making it easy for families to enjoy as well. The post also mentions a projection-mapping display projected onto a UFO, suggesting this will be more than just a food and drink event, but a true neighborhood gathering.

About the Brewery

IN THA DOOR BREWING is based in Marine Park on Rokko Island, Kobe, and its official site promotes “LOCAL BEER” and “hyper-local.” For this brewery, which has emphasized brewing that makes use of Kobe water and locally sourced ingredients, the R.I.C. Party created with local shops can be seen as a place to experience that philosophy firsthand.

For people who could not make it on weekday nights, this Sunday 3:00 p.m. start makes the event easier to attend. At the entrance to spring, it looks like the perfect chance to enjoy a “local pint” on Rokko Island.
