RIKRI BREWING’s first lager, "La La La"

RIKRI BREWING in Takaban, Meguro Ward, has introduced "La La La" as the first lager it has ever made. The style is Helles, and the ABV is 4.5%. In the post, they explained that this is RIKRI’s first lager and also the brewery’s first time making a European-style beer.

Brewing direction: a “simple and easy-drinking” Helles

The malt is based on IREKS Pilsner, blended with a small amount of Weyermann Pilsner Malt. In the caption, they expressed a preference for a simple Helles centered on base malt rather than types that add Vienna Malt or Munich Malt. It can be described as a design that gives the beer a solid foundation within a crisp, lager-like outline.

Hops bring herbal notes and gentle citrus

For hops, they use Hallertau Diamant and WET HOP Spalter Select. In the caption, they describe the finished beer as balancing floral aromas with subtle citrus nuances, alongside the malt’s gentle sweetness. The yeast is W-34/70. Lager fans will want to pay attention to this one as a beer that doesn’t overdo the aroma, but instead makes its mark on the palate.
