Sakazuki Lab to Open on August 23 with Stand-In Service and a Limited Lemon Sour Ale
Sakazuki Lab in Adachi, Tokyo will open at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 23, with a stand-in team while the manager is off. The lineup includes a limited lemon sour ale, an ongoing IPA festival, and Osaka-inspired food specials.
Sakazuki Lab is the sister venue of Sakazuki Brewing in Kitasenju, offering house-brewed craft beer alongside food in a way that fits Adachi Ward's drinking culture. Its appeal lies in pairing beer and dishes with care, rather than treating beer as the only draw.
On Sunday, August 23, the shop will run as a stand-in service because manager Koba is off. Doors open at 1:00 p.m., with Kanta and Kanayama hosting the day. The featured beer is a limited draft first opened in the shop: `Lemon Sour Ale`, described as a refreshing ale with bright lemon character. Bottled Akashi Red is also available.
The food menu leans into Osaka and Kawachi flavors, reflecting Kanayama's background. The blackboard lineup includes Osaka-style soft takoyaki, doteyaki-style stewed beef tendon, and Kawachi-style kasu udon. At the same time, the IPA festival continues, with `Stardust` in a new-versus-old batch comparison, plus `Twilight`, `Hangover!`, `after the rain`, and `Punk IPA`. For beer fans, it is a day that combines a limited release, a strong IPA selection, and food with clear regional character.
