Oita's craft beer bar "Extra Hop" collaborates with Chef Tamai, tapping two new beers
At the beer pub craft beer "Extra Hop" in Chuo-machi, Oita City, a collaboration event with Chef Tamai will be held from May 15 to 17. In addition to draft beer, bottles of saison and sour ale will also be offered by the glass, and two new beers from Yokohama Bay Brewing and CRAFTROCK BREWING have been tapped.
At craft beer "Extra Hop," on the first floor of Oku-no-Hosomichi Building, 2-6-25 Chuo-machi, Oita City, a collaboration event with Chef Tamai will be held from May 15 to 17. Inside the shop, the lineup is designed so you can enjoy not only draft beer but also bottled beers such as saison and sour ale by the glass.
The two beers newly tapped this time are Yokohama Bay Brewing / Goooaaal!!! and CRAFTROCK BREWING / DRINK ALL DAY. Goooaaal!!! is a West Coast IPA brewed by a young brewer from Oita, and it is being introduced as an easy choice for the coming warm season. DRINK ALL DAY is a Kölsch that has returned to the taps after a long time. Its appeal is its crisp, easy-drinking character.
Also featured on the bottle list are names such as Holy Mountain, Fair Isle, and OXBOW, making for a lineup with food pairing in mind. During the event, orders are on a "1 Beer & 1 Food" basis, and wine and soft drinks are not served. Food is paid for in advance, last orders are at 21:30, and reservations are not accepted. On weekends, hours run continuously from 16:00 to 22:00, making it easy to use not only after work but also for people who want to start drinking early and take their time.
