Torne in Osaka’s Tenroku wraps up FUKUOKA ⇄ OKINAWA with eight beers
Osaka beer pub torne announced the end of its FUKUOKA ⇄ OKINAWA collaboration. The update also notes that Fukuoka-style food remains available and package items are still 10% off, while revisiting the eight-beer lineup from Fukuoka and Okinawa.
Osaka Tenroku beer pub `torne_craftbeer` announced the end of its `FUKUOKA ⇄ OKINAWA` collaboration, held together with `micca`. The post also said Fukuoka-style food can still be served, and that package items remain at 10% off, so the venue is still leaning into food and beer after the event itself.
The lineup featured eight beers from `Fukuoka Craft Brewing` and `Fill Brewing`: `Good Old nitro ver.`, `Fika nitro ver.`, `Niwaka Lager.`, `Mi Casa Tu Casa.`, `Lemon Ale.`, `Special Thanks #2.`, `Sea & Tomato Mexican Ale.`, and `Stereo.` Styles ranged from English pale ale and golden stout to hoppy lager, Mexican lager, fruited saison, cold pale ale, Mexican ale, and West Coast IPA.
The two nitro beers, `Good Old nitro ver.` and `Fika nitro ver.`, were highlighted for a softer texture and finer foam. `Niwaka Lager.` is the kind of lager that should be easy to start with, while `Stereo.` is the hop-forward choice for drinkers who want more bite. The more food-driven entries, especially `Lemon Ale.` and `Sea & Tomato Mexican Ale.`, fit the event’s local-food focus.
On the food side, `torne` leaned into Fukuoka flavors with dishes such as `Bikkuritei`-inspired pork skirt and cabbage, `Niku Niku` udon, gobo-ten Dorilocos, gomasaba, chicken skin ponzu, takana-mentaiko, and fermented rice-bran mackerel. In Tenroku, the pub pairs a relaxed, compact setting with a lineup that lets you taste Fukuoka and Okinawa in one place.
