torne_craftbeer, a beer pub in Tenroku, Osaka, has received four beers from Toronto’s Bellwoods Brewery, along with Asahi Breweries’ historic Stout, which is scheduled to be discontinued around late December 2026.
torne_craftbeer, a beer pub in Osaka’s Tenroku district, has announced a new guest beer selection featuring four beers from Bellwoods Brewery in Toronto, Canada.
The lineup includes Brettal Head, a foeder-aged pale ale; Jelly King, a dry-hopped sour ale; Jelly King Passionfruit Orange Guava, a fruit-enhanced version with passionfruit, orange and guava; and Come What May Dry Hopped, a collaboration with De La Senne of Belgium. The latter combines foeder aging with dry hopping in a farmhouse ale format.
Bellwoods beers have recently become almost a regular presence at torne_craftbeer, offering drinkers the chance to compare different expressions of barrel aging, acidity, fruit character and hop aroma in one visit.
The pub has also received Asahi Breweries’ Stout. Produced at the company’s Suita brewery in Osaka, the beer has a history dating back to 1935. It is described as an ale-brewed dark beer with rich malt depth, firm bitterness, moderate acidity and complex aromas reminiscent of soy sauce and sherry. Despite its depth, it has a silky palate and a fragrant finish, and is sold in a distinctive 334ml slim bottle.
Asahi Stout is scheduled to be discontinued around late December 2026, making this a notable opportunity to try the beer while it remains available. Located in Tenroku, torne_craftbeer combines craft beer with music and provides a setting for exploring both international barrel-aged ales and a historic Japanese stout.
