At the beer pub Craft Beer Server Land Akasaka-Mitsuke, located on the basement floor of a building in Tokyo's Akasaka-Mitsuke area, April's "traveling tap takeover" has been announced. This month's guest is Yatsugatake Beer TOUCHDOWN, a brewery based in the Kiyosato Plateau of Yamanashi Prefecture. Brewing at an elevation of about 1,230 meters, the brewery makes use of the pure natural water and cool air of the southern foothills of the Yatsugatake mountains.

The main highlight this time is Raiheres, a three-way collaboration beer by TOUCHDOWN, Obata, the owner of CRAFT BEER SCISSORS Akihabara, and head brewer Tenmu Miyashita. It is TOUCHDOWN's first brew using rye, and the story goes that filtration took eight hours. With so much effort put into this new release, it is a beer whose taste and aroma are especially worth paying attention to.

As for event details, in addition to the tapping of Raiheres, 17 beers ON TAP are planned. On the food side, Tento (102) karaage made with Weizen and ROCK ham steak (limited quantity) will also be available. It is very much the kind of place where you can enjoy the food together with the beer, not just the beer by itself.

Also announced is a rock-paper-scissors tournament with Tenmu Miyashita from around 18:00 to 19:00. Since part of the venue may become standing room only when it gets crowded, those who want a relaxed drinking experience should check ahead in advance. The same event is scheduled for the next day, Sunday 4/5, at CRAFT BEER SCISSORS Akihabara, so you can follow the flow from Akasaka-Mitsuke and enjoy it at another location as well.
