GROW BREW HOUSE in Nishikawaguchi posts pani puri and a six-beer tap list
On August 14, GROW BREW HOUSE in Nishikawaguchi shared a new post featuring pani puri and a six-beer tap list. The brewery-direct brewpub is serving food and beer in a casual, maker-driven setting.
GROW BREW HOUSE, a brewery-direct brewpub within walking distance of Nishikawaguchi Station, updated its social post on August 14. The featured food is pani puri, an Indian street-food snack made by filling puffy shells with beans, potato, and vegetables before adding a cold spiced soup. The post says it pairs especially well with beer.
The taproom sits right next to the brewery, and the brewer, a former chef, prepares food to match the beer. Bring-your-own food is also allowed, which makes it easy to pair the beers with something picked up nearby. It is the kind of relaxed local spot where you can drink a fresh pint while watching the lineup change.
The tap list for the day includes six beers:
- Against Day / Dark Lager / 5%
- POTTERING / Saison / 6%
- Yuki-ai / Dry Hopped Pils / 5%
- 17AVE / American Rye Ale / 4%
- Luna Phase / Black IPA / 6.5%
- Aid / Fruits Ale / 3%
The post also previews upcoming events: "Third Corps Invasion" on August 15-16, "Nande yanen! Kushikatsu Grow!" on August 21-23, and a summer noodle-sliding event plus DJ Sickly on August 29. It is a very GROW-style summer schedule: beer, food, and small events all in one place.
