Rokko Beer has released its summer-limited Setouchi Lemon Ale. The beer uses plenty of peel and juice from Doho lemons grown on Toyoshima Island in Hiroshima Prefecture under the natural-farming approach known as DOHO STYLE. It comes in at 5.0% ABV and is presented as a refreshing lemon beer.

The flavor profile leans toward bright citrus aroma, gentle acidity, and restrained bitterness. That makes it an approachable option not only for dedicated craft-beer fans, but also for people who simply want to try something a little lighter and easier to drink.

Food pairing is part of the appeal. Rokko Beer suggests fried chicken, grilled fish, and tempura, where the lemon character should work well against richer textures and leave the palate feeling clean. As a fruit ale, it offers the kind of easygoing balance that fits naturally into summer meals.

Rokko Beer is based in Kobe, where its second-factory taproom and bottle shop in Arino, Kita Ward, make it a locally rooted brewery with a clear connection to the city. The brewery says the beer is available in limited quantities for the summer season through nearby retailers and its online shop, making it a practical pick for warm-weather drinking.
