New Tap: Third Collaboration Hazy DIPA

At NAMACHA'n Stand Kita-Ikebukuro, the third collaboration between VERTERE x Totopia Brewery has been tapped as a new beer. The beer is called "Collectiophobia". The style is Hazy DIPA, and the alcohol content is 8.5%. The post describes it as a finished beer that uses Luminosa, brewed by Portland's Indie Hops, as the main hop.

In terms of aroma, bright fruit aromas with a sweet edge, reminiscent of oranges and pineapple, take the lead, and when you take a sip, creamy tropical fruit nuances spread across the palate. Bitterness is subdued, and the beer is characterized by a smooth, silky mouthfeel and an easy-drinking profile that doesn't make the alcohol stand out.

Enjoying a Pint at the Kita-Ikebukuro Brewpub-Adjacent Location

NAMACHA'n Stand Kita-Ikebukuro is an attached shop at NAMACHA'n Brewing's third brewery. In addition to freshly brewed NAMACHA'n beers, the shop also offers smoked snacks, and it accommodates both dine-in and takeaway. The store combines a "beer bottle shop," "smoked snacks," and a "small beer bar," and its calm, walkable location from Kita-Ikebukuro Station makes it easy to use.

The Kita-Ikebukuro brewery is also notable for focusing on slightly more refined, "grown-up" beers such as barrel-aged beers, beer cocktails, coffee beers, and traditional beers. Seating is limited, but with 5 counter seats, 2 barrel tables, and a standing counter, it's just the right size for taking your time to appreciate the beer's character.

This "Collectiophobia" is being introduced as a Hazy DIPA that balances a vibrant aroma with drinkability, and it seems like a beer that really captures the fun of drinking something freshly made at NAMACHA'n Stand Kita-Ikebukuro.
