At the beer pub "BEER & MUSIC Cafe Raisundo" in Ibaraki City, Osaka, the 19th anniversary thanksgiving festival is underway. On May 23, draft beer will be offered at special prices from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and the main festival is scheduled for around 2:00 p.m. on the 24th. True to the shop's focus on music and beer, the anniversary event is set up so guests can leisurely compare draft beers.

The lineup ranges widely, from a golden ale-style IPA with hop bitterness, to a Weizen made in collaboration with Nomcraft in Wakayama, to a crisp pale ale in the Kolsch style, a fruit beer using raspberry juice, a classic Czech pilsner, and a lager with the distinctive character of Sorachi Ace. With everything from light to aromatic beers on offer, it is a lineup that makes it easy to follow the differences in flavor, fitting for an anniversary event.
Also listed as "comin' up next" are Baeren Brewery "Classic," Iwate Kura Beer "Passion Wheat Ale" and "Oyster Stout," and Baeren Brewery "Tsunagu Beer." Since the range extends from lager to fruit beers and stout, there should be plenty to enjoy as the offerings change over the course of the event.
On the food side, the pub is serving tagliatelle with ragout sauce, chicken liver stewed in wine vinegar, tandoori chicken, assorted smoked items, German-style potato salad, cabbage pickled in a sauerkraut style, zangi, French fries, and a meat-topped pizza. It is easy to pair the draft beers with hearty food, making this an anniversary service that beer fans who want to spend time in Ibaraki at a relaxed pace will find easy to enjoy. The main festival on the 24th will also include a novelty raffle for people who have visited at least twice in the past.
