Sakura Taps updated its tap list on Friday, August 14, and announced two new kegs. The newcomers are Dark Lager from Myoko Kogen Alpenblick Beer and Game Night from West Coast Brewing × Kyoto Brewing.

Dark Lager is a black beer brewed with plenty of high-quality roasted malt. The blend of Black, Caramel, Munich, and Pilsner malts gives it a rich, layered flavor. Game Night, a West Coast Double IPA, brings a fresh green hop aroma, tropical fruit notes reminiscent of passion fruit, and a balanced mix of woody and floral accents. Together, they make a strong contrast for beer drinkers who like to move between dark malt character and hop-forward intensity.

The bar also resumed Juicy Things Friday after a two-week break. This week’s food feature is a three-taco plate, designed to work not only with beer but also with wine. That pairing-friendly, music-filled atmosphere is part of what makes Sakura Taps feel like a place to slow down and focus on the glass in front of you.

The full eight-beer lineup for the day was:

- 無我霧中 / Shiga Kogen Beer
- 吉田町へレス 2026 / Sakura Taps × Numazu Craft
- IKARU / Groundtap Brewery
- Robbo IPA / Numazu Craft
- Salud Amigos! / Grandline Brewing
- Game Night / West Coast Brewing × Kyoto Brewing
- Dark Lager / Myoko Kogen Alpenblick Beer
- Da Boy Tommie / DOK BREWING

From lager to West Coast DIPA, the board covers a wide range of styles and gives guests plenty of room to taste across the menu with food.
