MATSURI BREWING brings in two Basqueland Brewing beers from Spain's Basque Country
MATSURI BREWING in Urayasu, Chiba, announced on Instagram that it had brought in two beers from Basqueland Brewing in Spain's Basque Country. It introduced the character of a West Coast IPA and an Extra Pale Ale separately, and they are now being served in the shop.
MATSURI BREWING (Urayasu City, Chiba Prefecture) announced on Instagram on April 6 that it had brought in beers from Spain's Basque Country's `Basqueland Brewing`. The supplier is `ladybirds.trading`, and the two labels introduced this time are both beers with clearly defined style characteristics, making them fun to compare side by side.
The Two Arrivals
- `Mind The Gap`
A `West Coast IPA`. It is described as tropical, citrusy, and with a slight dank character.
- `Flysch`
An `Extra Pale Ale`. It is characterized by a light body and a vivid, complex aroma, with notes reminiscent of orange peel, gooseberry, and white fruit.
MATSURI BREWING is a brewpub and brewery within walking distance of Urayasu Station, and it continues making beer around the theme of being "somewhat nostalgic and highly drinkable." On its official website as well, it highlights products that balance drinkability and individuality, such as its festive IPA series and its JUICY series, which make the most of fruit and hop aromas.
This latest arrival is very much in line with MATSURI BREWING's approach of delivering not only its own beer, but also the character of overseas breweries. Whether you want the sharp edge of a West Coast IPA or the bright aroma of an Extra Pale Ale, the contrast between the two styles is easy to appreciate. If you're looking for craft beer in Urayasu, this is an arrival worth checking out.
