Nao's birthday event at Two Fingers offers special taps and food through the 19th
At the beer pub Two Fingers in Tokyo's Nishi-Ikebukuro, Nao's birthday event is being held until Sunday the 19th. In addition to special beers selected by Nao, limited-edition food, a daily randomly timed rock-paper-scissors contest, and a gyoza popup on the final day are also on offer.
At the beer pub Two Fingers in Nishi-Ikebukuro, Toshima Ward, Tokyo, Nao's birthday event is running through Sunday, April 19.
The main highlight this time is the special beers selected by Nao. On tap is a wide lineup ranging from lager to smoothie sours and Italian pilsners, including Two Fingers' "Highway to Helles" and "Garage," as well as "Drink All Day," "Witcher's Smoothie," and "Vita Amara." In addition, IPA-style "Personal Plague" and "Cryptic Love," plus familiar favorites like "Hop and Escape," "Rodenbach Grand Cru," and "James" are also on tap. Backups "Alstroemeria" and "Free From Doubt" are standing by as well.
The food is event-specific too, with "Scallions-Loaded Mala Eggs🥚🌶️" and "Bamboo Shoots and Gota Cheese Marinated in Miso🧀" on offer. It is exactly the kind of snack lineup that pairs well with beer, which is part of the fun of a beer pub.
During the event period, the rock-paper-scissors contest, usually held during tap takeovers, will also take place every day. Since it starts at random times rather than on a fixed schedule, you're lucky if you happen to be there when it begins. On the final day, Sunday the 19th, a Fukuda Gyoza popup will be held at the same time, so you can enjoy beer and gyoza together.
Two Fingers is a beer pub in Ikebukuro centered on craft beer. Using Nao's birthday as the occasion, the event brings together the tap lineup, food, and playful programming in one place.
