If you are following craft beer in the Yoyogi Hachiman and Yoyogi Park area, one spot you cannot miss even on weekdays is the Irish Pub Taramoa. On Thursday, March 19, it will be open from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (drinks last order 10:30 p.m. / food last order 10:00 p.m.), and the draft lineup will be the following five beers.
Draft lineup for the day
- Guinness
- Shiga Kogen Beer IPA
- Yebisu
- Minoh Beer MUGICHA BITTER (English Bitter with Barley Tea / served on nitro)
- KANPAI! BREWING Kichijozaka IPA Classic (West Coast IPA)
Taramoa’s style is to build a core around the familiar "Guinness, Shiga Kogen IPA, and Yebisu," while adding personality through the rotating guest slot. This time, the nitro slot features Minoh Beer’s MUGICHA BITTER, letting you enjoy its smooth mouthfeel and subtle British-style character. The guest beer is Kichijozaka IPA Classic from Tokyo’s KANPAI! BREWING. If you are looking for the sharp bitterness typical of a West Coast IPA, this is one to catch.
The interior has the calm atmosphere you would expect from an Irish pub, making it easy to stop in for a drink after work or stay for a meal. The post also mentions new food items, so it looks like a day to relax and enjoy the usual Taramoa experience alongside your beer.
