A seasonal pour at the taproom near Takaosanguchi Station

CRAFTROCK TAPROOM's official Instagram introduced the seasonal beer "S'MOREMAN." The post revealed that the beer was supervised by assistant brewer Hase and was based on a recipe inspired by Metallica's "Enter Sandman."

S'MOREMAN is a stout inspired by s'mores, the campfire treat made by sandwiching a roasted marshmallow between chocolate and crackers. While its appearance and aroma lean dessert-like, the post says its drinking impression is unexpectedly crisp, with sweetness kept from coming to the forefront. It has a solid body without becoming overly heavy, making it seem well suited to slow sipping on a slightly chilly day.

As a pairing, trail mix is recommended. The mature sweetness of dried fruit, the graininess of pretzels, and the chocolate elements connect naturally with the beer's aroma and roasted character.

CRAFTROCK TAPROOM is a taproom attached to a brewpub near Takaosanguchi Station. In its wood-warm interior, guests can enjoy freshly brewed house beer, along with homemade yeast bread and seasonal deli plates. Whether you want to relax on a bench or stop in for just one drink at the counter, it is an easy place to use as a mountain-area base.

In keeping with CRAFTROCK's brewing philosophy, which is rooted in music, S'MOREMAN is also positioned as a limited beer with a story inspired by a song title. It is a seasonal release that gives you one more reason to have a drink in Takao.
