Yo-Ho Brewing will release Fruit Deta Jan on July 28 at about 15,800 FamilyMart liquor-licensed stores nationwide. The can product is exclusive to FamilyMart and will be sold in limited quantity. A 350ml can costs 337 yen including tax, with 5% alcohol by volume.

The beer is a fruit Belgian white. It builds on a Belgian white base made with orange peel and coriander seed, then adds orange juice and pink grapefruit juice. The result is a beer with citrus aroma, spicy notes, and juicy fruit character. Compared with many standard beers, the bitterness is kept moderate, making it easier to drink for people who do not usually drink beer.

The product concept is described as creating a small vacation feeling and lifting the mood a little. The package uses grapefruit islands and a sea of beer to express that idea. Suggested pairings include salad, white fish, and dried fruit.

Yo-Ho Brewing has been based in the Saku area of Nagano since its founding in 1997, and it is known for distinctive craft beers such as Yona Yona Ale.
