July 19 at Andbeer

Andbeer in Koenji is operating on Sunday, July 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. with continuous service. The post also notes beer takeout from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with options for PET bottles, plastic cups, and growlers.

Two guest beers are highlighted. The first is Gokugoku Gose, a collaboration with Kosugiyu Tonari. It is described as a gose with salt and Tokushima summer mandarin, a crisp and easy-drinking option that feels especially suited to warm weather. The second is Azarashi Pilsner O-kawari, an original beer with BeerPub Nekokoto Azarashi in Mitaka. It is a revival of a pilsner Andbeer once brewed before, with a clean finish and a clearer sense of malt and hops.

Food Pairings

The food lineup centers on oyster shiso biryani and shrimp and eggplant shiso biryani. Other dishes include lemon-scented egg dip with green chili pickles and crackers, shrimp and yam with herb breadcrumbs, fried corn with garlic butter, and sweet-and-sour pork with black vinegar. The menu ranges from light snacks to fuller plates, making it easy to move between the tart edge of the gose and the crisp bitterness of the pilsner.

About the Venue

Andbeer is a brewpub in Koenji built around house beer and food. Its relaxed, neighborhood-friendly atmosphere makes it a fitting place for collaborations with nearby bathhouses and beer bars, and this July 19 lineup reflects that local connection clearly.
