North Island Beer, which operates a brewery in Ebetsu, Hokkaido, announced on Instagram that it will be participating in the "Benizakura Distillery 8th Anniversary Festival" on Saturday, April 25. The venue is Benizakura Park in Sumikawa, Minami Ward, Sapporo, and the event will run from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is 500 yen, and those under 20 can enter for free.

The festival is introduced as a popular event for people who love alcohol, held every year around this time. In addition to craft beer, visitors can enjoy gin, whiskey, and sake from around Hokkaido. The list of booths includes Kitayamaya, Shakotan Spirit, Susukino Ale STAND, Sumikawa Beer, NORTH ISLAND BEER, Niseko Distillery, and Lake Toya Beer.

North Island Beer is a brewery known for making beers that incorporate Hokkaido-inspired ingredients and collaborations. This time, it says it will mainly offer limited-edition beers along with tasting sets. Access to the venue is by shuttle bus from Makomanai Station on the subway or by shared taxi. Since it is an outdoor event, bringing a leisure sheet is recommended, and it looks set to be a day for taking your time and enjoying comparative tastings in a spring park.
