Awashima Soko, a craft beer pub in Setagaya, Tokyo, has announced its October 7 tap list. Four beers from karuizawaQ, FARMENTRY, and Nomcraft will be available from 6 p.m. to midnight.
Awashima Soko, a compact craft beer pub in Daisawa, Setagaya, has released its tap list for October 7. The four-tap lineup covers a broad range of styles, including a Session IPA, Saison, American Pale Ale, and Juicy IPA.
The beers are karuizawaQ’s “Tochu” (Session IPA) and “Iromegane” (Juicy IPA), FARMENTRY’s “Daily Loop” (Saison), and Nomcraft’s “Lizard Wizard” (American Pale Ale). The selection moves from a light and easy-drinking Session IPA to a fruit-forward Juicy IPA, a saison with expressive fermentation character, and a hop-focused American Pale Ale.
Located along Awashima-dori, Awashima Soko offers craft beer in an intimate setting, along with food and Cuban sandwiches. The pub has also announced that part of its food menu has been updated and that beer retail sales have resumed.
On October 7, the pub is open from 6 p.m. to midnight, with last orders at 11:30 p.m. October closing days are Tuesdays: the 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th. Because the venue is small, groups of up to four people are recommended. For beer drinkers exploring Setagaya, this four-beer lineup offers a concise snapshot of three Japanese breweries and several distinct styles.
