Two Latest TOTOPIA Releases at drifter’s stand

An Instagram post from drifter’s stand, a beer pub in Togoshi Ginza, Shinagawa City, Tokyo, announced two of Totopia Brewery's latest beers. The lineup consists of the West Coast DIPA "Quartzphobia" and the DDH Hazy Pale Ale "Trapphobia". Both are packed with the kind of hop expression that is distinctly Totopia.

Beers on Tap

- Quartzphobia / Totopia Brewery
West Coast DIPA. Hops: Nectaron, Riwaka, Mosaic Cryo, and Citra Cryo. This is a beer with bright citrus character and dankness up front, defined by a sharp bitterness and a crisp finish.
- Trapphobia / Totopia Brewery
DDH Hazy Pale Ale. Brewed with Peacharine and Citra, it layers aromas reminiscent of peach, apricot, and passion fruit over a light body and silky mouthfeel.

Quartzphobia is suited to those looking for a beer with a defined edge, as its clear bitterness and dry, clean finish capture the appeal of a classic West Coast profile. Trapphobia, meanwhile, keeps the softness associated with Hazy beers while avoiding excess sweetness, making its hop character relatively clean and easy to enjoy.

drifter’s stand, easy to stop by while strolling through Togoshi Ginza, is the kind of place that works well when you want to quietly savor a beer. With two new Totopia releases on the board, there is also the pleasure of comparing the strength of the hops and the difference in mouthfeel. Rather than flashy presentation, this feels like a shop that carefully serves the one beer you should be drinking right now, and these guest beers seem to fit that role well.
