BEER MARROW, a beer pub near Kichijoji Station on the fourth floor, shared its latest tap lineup in an Instagram post on July 17. The venue said it was running a record-listening service that day and staying open until 2 a.m., making it an easy stop for drinkers looking to cool off with a pint in the middle of a humid summer evening.

The featured beer is Far Yeast Brewing's "Off Trail Gimme Those Fairy Wings." It is a barrel-aged sour ale built on a base of sour red ale and sour blonde ale that were matured for up to 27 months, then blended with blueberry, raspberry, cranberry, and morello cherry puree. The result is described as a layered sour with berry depth and barrel character.

The rest of the board covers a wide range of styles. DD4D BREWING's "ALTERING" is a golden ale at 5.0%. WEST COAST BREWING's "WCB Light" is an extra-dry American lager at 4.0%. BLACK TIDE BREWING's "Full Power" is a hazy IPA at 4.0%. Totopia Brewing's "Sirenphobia" is an oat cream DIPA at 8.0%. And 反射炉ビヤ's "M SHAKE MATCHA" is a matcha milkshake ale at 7.0%.

Two slots are marked as "coming soon," so the tap list is still expected to move. For beer fans in Kichijoji, the range here is appealing: easy-drinking lager and golden ale options, hop-forward IPA choices, and a dessert-leaning matcha beer alongside the barrel-aged sour.
