At Beer O'clock, a beer pub in Chuo Ward, Chiba City, HOPDOG's "Sakura Sakihokore" and Põhjala's "Dark Engineering" have arrived as New TAP. A springlike 4.0% lager and a rich 14.0% stout are on tap side by side.
A new, attention-grabbing guest beer tap has arrived at Beer O'clock, the beer pub in Fisumi, Chiba.
Today’s New TAP starts with HOPDOG’s "Sakura Sakihokore". This Japanese Rice Lager has an alcohol content of 4.0%. It is a spring-limited beer made with yeast and rice developed in Akita Prefecture, and its crisp drinkability is layered with a soft, seasonal aroma. It is easy to drink, yet its rice-derived character comes through clearly.
The other is Põhjala’s "Dark Engineering". This BA Imperial Oatmeal Stout is set at a fairly high 14.0%. Its full-bodied, rich profile is built from layers of dark chocolate, tobacco, and coffee, with additional notes of leather, vanilla, and a subtle spice character. A long warmth from the alcohol remains in the finish, making this a black beer that deserves to be savored slowly.
Beer O'clock is a beer pub in the Chiba Station area where you can enjoy craft beer in a relaxed setting. On Tuesdays, it is open continuously from 12:00 to 22:30, so you can take your time with a glass even from lunchtime. From a light spring-limited lager to a rich barrel-aged stout, this tap lineup of two highly contrasting beers is a welcome one for beer lovers who want to compare flavors side by side.
