A fruit-farm brewery heads to Sapporo


NIKIYA FARM & BREWERY is a microbrewery based in Niki, Hokkaido, alongside its farm operations. The brewery is known for craft beers made with homegrown fruit and hops, giving its lineup a clear sense of place.

From June 12 to 14, 2026, NIKIYA will appear at "Dosanko Park in Akapla STV x YOSAKOI Soran Festival" at Sapporo’s Kita 3-jo Plaza, known as Akapla. The event includes a mini beer garden area, and NIKIYA is taking part in the "mini beer garden x food truck" section.

Beers on offer


- NIKIYA PALE ALE: ABV 5.0%. A signature pale ale that uses some homegrown hops.
- NIKIYA BLACK: ABV 4.5%. A porter-inspired black beer with deep, layered malt character, evoking the history of Niki.
- NIKIYA WHITE: ABV 5.0%. A weizen with a fruity aroma and a soft, smooth texture.

The lineup reflects Niki’s fruit-growing landscape, with beers that feel closely tied to the farm and the local environment. For beer fans in central Sapporo, it is a good chance to taste NIKIYA’s beers outside the brewery itself.
